Learn about partnering with us as a subcontractor. Find details on our project types, subcontractor requirements, payment procedures, safety policies, and more in our FAQ.

We subcontract a variety of projects, including janitorial services, landscaping, snow removal, asphalt paving, and parking lot sweeping and other facility maintenance tasks. We match subcontractors with projects based on their expertise and experience.

We require all subcontractors to have valid business licenses, proper insurance coverage (general liability, workers' compensation, etc.), and any necessary certifications for their specific trade. Additionally, subcontractors must adhere to our safety and quality standards.

Once selected for a project, you will receive a subcontractor agreement outlining the scope of work, payment terms, deadlines, and other relevant details. It’s essential to review and sign this agreement before starting any work.

Payments are typically processed on a net-30 basis after the completion of work, subject to approval and any necessary inspections. We require detailed invoices, including all agreed-upon documentation, to ensure timely payment.

We expect all subcontractors to deliver high-quality work that meets our standards and those of our clients. This includes completing tasks on time, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining clear communication with our project managers.

Safety is a top priority. All subcontractors are required to comply with OSHA regulations and our internal safety policies. We conduct regular safety audits and expect all subcontractors to report any incidents or hazards immediately.

Clear and timely communication is crucial. Subcontractors should maintain regular contact with our project managers, especially regarding project progress, potential issues, and any changes to the scope of work. We prefer updates via email, phone, or our project management software.

If there is an issue with the quality of work, we will notify you immediately. Depending on the nature of the problem, we may ask for corrective action at no additional cost. Repeated issues may result in a review of our working relationship.

While we expect subcontractors to have the necessary skills and certifications, we occasionally offer training sessions on our specific processes, safety protocols, or project management tools. Participation in these sessions may be required for certain projects.

Any changes to the project scope must be documented and approved through a change order process. Subcontractors should not proceed with additional work until the change order is signed and agreed upon by both parties.

We strive for long-term partnerships, but if performance consistently fails to meet our standards or there are significant breaches of contract, we reserve the right to terminate the agreement. Termination procedures and any outstanding payments will be handled according to the terms of the subcontractor agreement.

We regularly evaluate subcontractors based on factors like quality of work, adherence to deadlines, safety compliance, communication, and overall professionalism. High-performing subcontractors may be offered additional opportunities or preferred status for future projects.
